Some people express their passions into many different manifestations including into home decorating and styling. There are many examples that can make us easily identify people’s love, passion, and preferences by only seeing their homes.
The Apartment FS in Stuttgart is one of the home models that was designed to meet its owner passion for visual art and literature. This remarkable project was carried out by Ippolito Fleitz Group in 2011, yet it is still a good preference for us who are going to make a functional and beautiful home library.
Explicit Design Theme
If people are in love with something, they tend to express it explicitly in their private area, which is usually in their homes. There is always an honest confession to themselves that makes them give anything that they have to be with what they love.
The explicit expression is the main theme of this Apartment FS. A huge love of the homeowner for literature and visual art had made their home fully filled with bookshelves and wall art decorations.
Interior Design Characters
The home designer was likely adopting a combination of interior types as we can find out at least two different models displayed in different home parts.
Transitional Home Style
The living room as we see above is an example of a transitional type that was applied to this home. A fabric sectional sofa was set together with a chaise lounge as a substitute for the coffee table. A complex arrangement of wall arts was resonating with the theme yet it created a kind of statement that turn up the room vibes to be more cheerful.
In the other room with the same concept, the transitional style showed off a more traditional look. Vintage and antique decorations were filling out this room enhancing the presented modern furniture set.
Modern Minimalist Home
Moving to the other room, the interior visually changed into something uncluttered and minimally decorated. Airy and spacy vibes were really emphasized as it was probably set to give a balancing set to the previous home area.
Bright surface color and straightforward lines simplified the look that could provide a retreat in which the owner could setback for less serious activity.
